Kingdom Hearts 3 director Tetsuya Nomura revealed that the development team is unsatisfied with the current look of the game, according to the Latin Times, leaving many gamers wondering if the game's release date is slowed down by production.

"Although this is our first time showing footage of actual game play, the quality isn't anywhere near what the staff members consider satisfying," he told Famitsu.

Square Enix has released a lineup of new video game releases for the next fiscal quarter, which ends in March 2014, but it did not include Kingdom Hearts 3.

The document, which was published on November 6th, also omitted Final Fantasy XV, according to Examiner.com.

director Tetsuya Nomura said the new title, which will be available on the Playstation 4, will "wrap up story elements present since the first game," according to Polygon.com.

The battles that the series' characters have been fighting for the past decade will come to a head in the game and that a particular long-fought enemy will meet its demise, Polygon.com also reports.

A recently shown trailer at the D23 Expo in Japan revealed that Kingdom Hearts 3 will use HD revamps on its Playstation 4 version, according to the Latin Times.

The Disney-inspired game will utilize next-generation console support to include more features in the development.
