Behati Prinsloo Admits She’s ‘So Bad’ At Makeup; Victoria’s Secret Model ‘Takes Tips’ At Fashion Show Before Wedding To Boyfriend Adam Levine
Behati Prinsloo admitted at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show that she is no makeup artist. On Wednesday, Behati Prinsloo suggested she is trying to get makeup advice before her wedding to boyfriend Adam Levine.
"The Voice" mentor and the 24-year-old Namibian model got engaged in July 2013, after dating on and off for about a year.
Us Weekly talked to Behati Prinsloo backstage at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 13, and she said that even though she hadn't started planning her wedding to Adam Levine, she was getting some makeup advice at the show in preparation.
"I take tips. They do it and it looks amazing, but then I try it and I'm like, 'What? Where did that go?'" Behati said with a laugh, Us Weekly reports. "I'm so bad with it. I can do eyeliner and mascara and that's it."
When asked if Levine was excited to see her walk the runway, Behati laughed and said, "I don't know. I mean, I think so."
She was right!
According to E! News, 34-year-old Adam sat at the end of the catwalk at the show with Maroon 5 bandmate James Valentine and Lady Antebelum's Charles Kelley. Behati gave her fiance a sexy smile and shout-out in the form of a quick fist pump, E! News reports.
Levine returned the love by jumping to his feet and cheering Prinsloo on, while she raised her arms in the air in appreciation, the website notes. He reportedly started a standing ovation for the Namibian beauty.
An eyewitness told Us Weekly that they "stood and cheered for Behati when she walked by."
"He was a proud fiance," the onlooker added. "They were the only group going really crazy for any model. Behati would look over and blow him a kiss."
Ironically, just a few years ago, Levine was cheering for a different Victoria's Secret model: his now ex-girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna. At the 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, Maroon 5 performed their hit song "Moves Like Jagger" and Levine gave his then-girlfriend a kiss on the cheek onstage. Levine and Vyalitsyna broke up in April 2012.
The 2013 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show airs on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at 10 p.m. EST on CBS.
