NBA 2K14 Release Date Version For PS4, Xbox One Makes Users More Human? Players Can Become Frustrated And Choke In Next-Generation Versions

NBA 2K14's next-generation versions will allow players to become frustrated and choke during gameplay, Complex.com reports, leaving many wondering if it will present a more humanized aspect to the game.

"For example if a player is using Carmelo Anthony and decides to hog the ball another player could then become frustrated, lose focus and not be as efficient in later games," the website writes.

"Until Carmelo starts sharing the ball, problems will continue until it's finally corrected. Events that trigger these emotional fluctuations don't have to be as dramatic as the afore mentioned either. Players can get discouraged if they disagree with referee calls or miss too many shots."

NBA 2K14 senior producer Rob Jones said he wants the game to set the next-generation gaming bar higher, leaving gamers wondering if it will surpass NBA Live 14 in the game's Playstation 4 and Xbox One versions.

"When we built this, we built it with, 'We want to make the game look as real as it's ever been, and give [players] a gameplay experience that matches it.' And that's what we aimed for," he said, according to Polygon.

NBA 2K14 will be released on next-generation consoles Playstation 4 and Xbox One within a few days and will feature more realistic gameplay and cutaway scenes.

"As expected, the graphics in NBA 2K14 on the two next-gen systems are going to blow your mind. The players look more realistic than ever before, and the attention to detail paid to the players' bodies and faces make cutaway scenes that much more entertaining and lifelike," predicts BleacherReport.com.

"But the detail doesn't stop when you put the ball in play. The player movement and the overall appearance of the game make it feel like real life. Intense crowd reactions and real player voices help make next-gen NBA 2K14 pop off the screen."
