Mission Impossible 5 Release Date: Get Ready For The Return Of Special Agent Ethan Hunt On Christmas 2015 - A Week After The Release Of Star Wars Episode 7

December 2015 will be J.J. Abrams month, as two of his movies will be released on the holidays of 2015. According to Variety, Mission Impossible 5 release date would be just a week after Star Wars Episode 7 movie's release date.

Mission Impossible 5, which J.J. Abrams is producing, will open on Christmas day while Star Wars Episode 7, which he is directing, will open a week earlier on December 18.

As for M:I5 the only definite details as of the moment are its release date and the return of Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt. However, whether his fellow Ghost Protocol agents, played by Jeremy Renner, Simon Pegg and Paula Patton will return with him in the movie is yet to be known.

Drew Pearce (Iron Man 3) will be responsible for the screenplay of the action-filled movie and Christopher McQuarrie (Jack Reacher) will be in the directing department. J.J Abrams who's been a veteran with the Mission Impossible franchise since directing and co-writing Mission Impossible 3 will be producing it.

Mission Impossible franchise released its first movie on 1996 where Tom Cruise first appeared as secret agent Ethan Hunt. Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol was the most recent sequel of the franchise, which came out on 2011. The Ghost Protocal was the most successful and highest grossing sequel in the franchise it nearly earned $700 million at the box office internationally also the highest grossed movie for Tom Cruise's career.

As for J.J. Abrams, Star Wars Episode 7, which he'll be directing also assumed co-writing responsibilities with Lucasfilm veteran Lawrence Kasdan.

Star Wars Episode 7 is scheduled for production in spring of 2014 at Pinewood Studios in London. The producers of the movie has recently announced that it hold casting call auditions globally for two major roles, Rachel and Thomas.
