Star Wars Episode 7 Spoilers: Samuel L. Jackson Reveals That He Is Just Waiting For A Call From J.J. Abrams To Cast Him On The Much Anticipated Film

While other actors who have been auditioning for a role in Lucasfilm and Disney Production of Star Wars Episode 7 are mum, Samuel L Jackson was very open about it and was more than willing to share his insights on the movie during his appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman.

Although Jackson, who played the role of Korun Jedi Mace Windu in Star Wars prequels, lost an arm and died in the Revenge of the Sith film he openly expressed his desire to come back for the latest episode of the Pulp Fiction.

According to Worst Previews, Samuel L. Jackson is eagerly waiting for the casting crew to give him a call. During his interview with David Letterman he said that he was talking to some of his co-actors and asking them anyone from the film has gave them a call.

"I went to London to start another film, and I'm in the film with Mark Hamill so I asked Mark if he'd heard from JJ Abrams, and he said: 'No'. Then all of a sudden Ewan [McGreggor] was there and I spoke to him on the phone and asked if he was there doing 'Star Wars' and he said: 'No, they didn't call me,'" Jackson tells Letterman.

In continuation, "So I was thinking maybe all three of us should get together and just and go over to the 'Star Wars' set one day and just stand around and see if maybe they could use some old Jedi."

Apparently, Samuel L. Jackson was not the only veteran of the film who wanted to return for Star Wars Episode 7. Back in September, Ewan McGregor who played the role of Obi-Wan Kenobi told E! Online that he would be definitely back in the 7th episode of the franchise and that he's just waiting for a call, just like Jackson.

"I'd be up for it," he excitingly told the website.

Samuel L. Jackson is has his hands full appearing on other Disney and Marvel movie flicks as he is scheduled to appear in The Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
