Twipple: TVXQ Ranks As High As Other Japanese Popular Artist

‘Twipple Trend’ that indicates the most tweeted celebrity by Japanese is shown to be TVXQ. Currently the group is on their Japan tour which is their largest yet.

The weekly ranking (Feb. 20-23) of “TVXQ” tweets is to be 25,810 placed 2nd. “Yunho” was mentioned 18,390 placing 3rd. “Changmin” mentioned 16,810 placed 5th.

February monthly ranking placed “Yunho” 3rd with 150,060 tweets, “Changmin” placed 4th with 139,550 tweets, “TVXQ” placed 5th with 119,220 tweets.

The yearly ranking so far (Jan.-Feb.) placed “Yunho” 3rd with 263,530, “Changmin” in 4th with 257,220 and “TVXQ” 5th with 251,390.

Although AKB48 the most popular Japanese girl group ranked top in every ranking, TVXQ ranked higher then other Japanese celebrities.

AKB48 has their own Twitter account that is constantly updated about their daily life. Therefore it’s earlier to get many tweets mentioning them. However TVXQ’s Yunho and Changmin don’t have a Twitter account of their own. If they did, can you imagine the number of tweets? Probably the top 3 will be placed by “TVXQ,” “Yunho,” and “Changmin.”
