After FINK.L broke up, she jumped into the yoga business. But contrary to common perception, it was a miserable failure.

She, like many other celebrities, was just a pawn that someone else had chosen to exploit. This is applicable to many stars that receive numerous business offers.

Many celebrities open up early to the business world due to their fame.

People try to get them to dabble in this and that and it's easy to convince them because they are quite gullible due to their lack of experience in the 'real' world.

The reason why people get famous celebrities to vouch for their products is because this adds familiarity and trust to the product. It's the same with a business: if people find out that a celebrity has started some type of business, they tend to be more trusting.

But there's a good reason why celebrities need to be a little more loath about starting businesses.

Acting and singing are strictly emotional types of jobs that directly oppose calculating. You can't estimate how a drama will do based on the cast's acting skills or how popular an album will be based on the artistic sophistication of a song.

But a business is different: it's all about calculations.

Behind every successful business, there has always been a clever and thorough set of calculations predicting the market trend, consumer preferences, political atmosphere etc. The fundamental nature of this task is different from that of celebrities.

There are, of course, celebrities that do succeed in their own businesses. But out of them, none have really managed to secure a notable acting or singing career.
