Big Bang’s Mini-Album ‘Alive’ Ranks #1 in Taiwan

The recently released fifth mini-album of Big Bang ‘Alive’ ranked first on Taiwanese online album store, Books.com Asian album sales chart.

The album ‘Alive’ released in 6 different versions on Taiwan’s online chart ranking seems to be doing extremely well. The Big Bang version ranked first followed by T.O.P version, G-Dragon and Seungri respectively ranked 5th and 7th.

Taeyang version and Daesung version comes in at 11th and 13th respectively. All four versions of the album entered the top 10 and all 6 versions in the top 20.

Although Big Bang hasn’t visited Taiwan yet, the group drew a lot attention by placing first on 13 different Taiwanese charts last year.

Big Bang has been dominating online and offline music charts in Korea also ranked 7th on the U.S. iTunes chart. Also their music video ‘Blue’ received millions of views proving their popularity all over the world.

Big Bang successfully concluded their first concert of their world tour in Seoul last weekend and they will continue to go to 25 cities in 16 countries. Big Bang will begin to make appearances starting with SBS ‘Big Bang Comeback Show’ on March 9, ‘Running Man’ and ‘Inkigayo.’
