Metal Gear Solid 5 Release Date Version Allows Gamers To Listen To Any Song During Mission? Developer Releases Information About Custom Soundtracks

Metal Gear Solid 5 developer Hideo Kojima revealed that the new game will allow new custom soundtracks, leaving gamers wondering if it will allow gamers to listen to any song.

Hideo Kojima announced on his Twitter account that he "installed my favorite OST of 'Pacific Rim' in the walkman that 'GZ Snake' has.

"Snake in GZ always carries "Walkman". You can listen to any song you like with it during the mission or even on the helicopter. I think 007 's theme of Bond (arranged by MOBY) & "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" theme fit well when sneaking in. I unexpectedly cried over Adel's "Skyfall" when rescuing," Kojima also revealed.

Hideo Kojima also revealed in a recent interview that the game will have several inconsistencies.

"When you try to write something that was supposed to be in the middle there will be some inconsistencies when you go into very small details," Kojima said in an interview, according to Gamerant.com.

"The most important part is writing something that is fun, something that is impressive, something that is better than it was before. So sometimes in the interest of doing this, of having a better experience, we sacrifice some consistencies in the story."

Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes for the Playstation 4 will also include exclusive content from the original game, Kojima also revealed.

"In the Déjà Vu mission, players will be able to play as 'Classic Snake,' a low-polygon version of the character that's reminiscent of the original PlayStation Metal Gear Solid, as he sneaks through a low-polygon version of the game populated with low-polygon enemies," Polygon.com writes.

"In a trailer, it appears that Classic Snake executes a mission in a level that blends the two games, seemingly a rescue mission that involved Donald Anderson from Metal Gear Solid."
