Huh Yunjin became the center of discussion in an online community, where fans reacted to the idol's criticism of her song recommendation.
On October 8, K-netz opened a thread titled, "LE SSERAFIM Huh Yunjin Receiving Hate From I-Roaches For Recommending A FIFTY FIFTY Song." The author of the post uploaded a screenshot showing a fan asking for song recommendations on Weverse.
Yunjin replied to the fan and suggested "Gravity," a side track from FIFTY FIFTY's second mini album "LOVE TUNE."
However, a netizen uploaded a post on X (formerly Twitter) about the recommendation, and the author claimed that international fans questioned Yunjin's choice of song. The caption also expressed support for "3Jeong," the three members of the original FIFTY FIFTY.
For further context, Aran, Sio, and Saena left FIFTY FIFTY following a series of feuds against ATTRAKT and mistreatment allegations. This eventually led to a division of support, as some K-netz seemed to side with the re-debuted FIFTY FIFTY, while some I-fans stood their ground with the original trio.
"I hope FEARNOTs on Weverse educate her about the situation she doesn't know. Screw HYBE and ATTRAKT, boycott FIFTY FIFTY, and support 3Jeong!"
The author added:
"They're even encouraging other idols who support the new FIFTY FIFTY to boycott too."
Korean and international FEARNOTs on the thread defended the idol.
- "Boycotting FIFTY FIFTY is so random."
- "Why are they being like that? Gravity is a masterpiece."
- "Please just boycott K-pop as a whole, you I-roaches."
- "A lot of I-fans are brainless sheep. They don't even know why they have to hate, they just hate because that's what they're told to do."
- "It's because I-routches are justice warriors."
- "These girls can't catch a break."
- "Educate? Someone please remove that word from the minds of I-leeches, because they have lost it."
- "I-fans collectively suffering from brain damage."
