Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt Spending The Thanksgiving Apart But The Kids Are Having A Blast Even Without Their Father

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are most likely spending their Thanksgiving apart. Ange is in Australia where she is filming her new movie "Unbroken," while Brad is in London filming "Fury."

Their six children Maddox, 12, Pax, nine, Shiloh, seven, Zahara, eight, and five-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne, who are currently living in Australia as well, are spending the holiday with their mom.

Angelina's father Jon Voight has confirmed the news to the reporters saying that he is "disappointed" that he won't be able to spend the holiday with his grandchildren, but he claims that they are having a blast while in Australia.

A news from the New York Daily Confidenti@l column reports that Jon had told reporters during the Chelsea Piers' Children of Chernobyl benefit: "My grandchildren are just terrific. Angie's working on her film and directing her film in Australia, so I won't be able to see them this holiday."

Angelina is known to be enthusiastic in immersing her kids in the local culture while they are all in Australia. She made sure that her youngsters were able to grab some traditional foods like kangaroo and witchetty grubs (an Aussie term for white mouth larvae, a traditional delicacy of Aboriginal women and children).

A source has previously revealed that, "Whenever they are in new countries the kids have a rule about trying local food."

"The tour guide took them to a specialist Aussie restaurant and they had a mix of kangaroo and emu on a pizza," the source added.

In other news, a rumor saying that Angelina Jolie had bought Brad Pitt a heart-shaped island for his birthday was debunked.

Joseph and Barbara Massaro's - owners of Petra Island - daughter Donna Massaro was able to speak with E! News saying, "It's not true," pertaining to the rumors about Angelina Jolie buying the island for Brad Pitt as a present for his 50th birthday.

Nevertheless, according to Massaro the 11-acre island is up for sale saying: "It is still for sale. We are open to show Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt the island but they have to have lunch at my cafe first.

"It [the house] is a labour of love and a piece of art," she continued.
