The Ducks were winning 2-1 after two periods, but allowed three goals in a 53-second span early in the third en route to a 6-3 loss vs the Dallas Stars on Tuesday. It was the most goals the Ducks have allowed since a season-opening 6-1 defeat at Colorado, according to NHL.com.
"There are ups and downs, and (Tuesday) was probably one of the lowest you could go to after allowing three goals in a minute and giving up the game," forward Andrew Cogliano told the Ducks' official website. "But, it happens and we move on. We have to focus on what we did wrong and focus on the good things. Hopefully we correct them."
Anaheim is struggling as well only winning two of its last eight games, but the Ducks know this one will be a tough game also.
"It's going to be a tough game," Boudreau said. "It always is with Calgary. Hopefully we're ready and prepared."
Calagary was on pace to a second straight win Wednesday, holding a 2-0 third-period lead versus Chicago. However, the Blackhawks capped a three-goal rally with 18 seconds left to hand the Flames a 3-2 home loss.
"We've got to play a full 60 (minutes)," said forward Lance Bouma, who has recorded three of his five points in the last four games. "That's the bottom line. We can't take shifts off. We have to play hard the entire night. That's something we have to get better at.
