Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date For LG G2 Now Rolling Out In Korea, French, Canadian Carriers Confirm Update In Next Few Months

LG is known for releasing top-notch and non-compromising phones. We have seen that this year, especially the G2 which was even pitted against the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. But now, even in getting Android updates LG has made an edge over its Korean rival as the Android 4.4 Kit Kat release date for its alpha dog device is already rolling out in the LG G2 handsets in Korea.

That means people who live in Korea and own an LG G2 would most likely get the update before the day ends. Just make sure to download and install it via the phone's LG Update Tool.

Meanwhile, leaked details which were reported earlier this month also point that French carrier SFR has already been preparing for the Android KitKat release for its LG G2's before the year ends.

For Canadian versions of the device, Mobile Syrup has obtained information straight from LG Canada that the company's flagship device would get the KitKat update during the Q1 of 2014 (probably late March).

There are already a handful of devices which would surely get the KitKat version, but let's see who gets to maximize its potential for their respective handsets.
