Apple Vs. Samsung: Rival Companies To Hold Settlement Talks, Both CEOs Reportedly Attending The Meeting In Person

The Apple vs. Samsung rivalry has been one of the most classic duels in the industry that we have seen. It's Apple's premium products against Samsung's top-notch specs. It's Retina going up against Super AMOLED. It's West against East.

But now, a new report says that this rivalry could soon be over - that is if both parties agree in their mediation session.

According to Reuters, the two tech giants have agreed to undergo an out-of-court meeting where they will try to arrive at an agreement or settlement. What's more interesting than the actual meeting is the fact that both CEOs - Apple's Tim Cook and Samsung's Oh-Hyun Kwon - will be attending in person.

In the report, the mediation session may be held on or before February 19th this year.

Could this be the end of the classic rivalry between Apple and Samsung? Are you convinced that both parties are really seeking settlement, or just another way to get ahead of the other?

After February 19, we'll know the answers.
