According to Emirates247.com, Justin Timberlake has confirmed he will perform at Yas Island, Abu Dhabi on May 23, 2014 on his world tour.

Tickets for the Abu Dhabi concert will go on sale Thursday, January 16, at midday and will be available at Ticketmaster.ae and select Virgin Megastores across the UAE.

Members of Justin Timberlake's fan club, the Tennessee Kids (#TNKids) will have access to a pre-sale starting on January 13. To register for the fan club go to thetennesseekids.justintimberlake.com, TheNational.ae reports.

The last time Timberlake was in Abu Dhabi was back in 2007, where he performed at the Emirates Palace Hotel, Emirates247.com reports.

The singer is currently on break from his '20/20 Experience World Tour,' which will resume on January 13, 2014 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

Event promoter Flash Entertainment confirmed today that Timberlake was coming to Abu Dhabi, after speculation arose following the release of a 17-second video. The video featured a paper unwrapping before a hand appeared, writing "#JTUAE" over a silhouette resembling Timberlake. Today's date ("09.01.2014") flashed in the video, suggesting the announcement would be made this Thursday.

"The 20/20 Experience" album was released last year. Part one sold more than 580,000 digital copies on iTunes, breaking the record for opening week sales, and soon became the biggest selling album in the US in 2013, TheNational.ae reports.
