iPhone 6 Rumors: Next iPhone's Camera Will Have OIS, But Will Remain At 8-Megapixels

By this time, we thought we already heard all of the iPhone 6 rumors, but it looks like there are more coming. And in a new report we learn that it will have an improved camera.

According to The China Post, the upcoming iPhone will have OIS or optical image stabilization. It is a imaging technology that is able to come up with impressive looking shots even when the object is moving.

This tech also improves focus and zoom performance. Equipped by an iPhone, OIS will surely compliment the already impressive camera of the Apple device and deliver the best results.

However, that may just be the end of the good news part.

In the same report, the iPhone 6 would not likely have a better camera in terms of megapixels. That means its camera will still remain at 8-megapixels. As a premium device with a more than premium pricetag, not having an improved camera lens is certainly disappointing.

The Cupertino manufacturer has did it with the iPhone 5 to iPhone 5s transition - it can certainly do it again with the iPhone 6.

But before you lose all hope, remember that this is just a rumor. Let's just wish Apple will still keep its fans and consumers in mind as it designs the company's newest handset.
