Nokia Lumia 520 review, price, specs: The $199 Windows Phone 8-powered device is getting an update, codenamed “Black,” in the U.K. According to CNET U.K., it brings a boatload of features to your Windows Phone 8 and is rolling out today.

The tech news site that the biggest change is the addition of app folders, allowing you to group similar apps together. Notifications have also been improved, with “Glance 2.0” allowing you to get more information such as how many messages, appointments and mentions you have pending.

The Lumia “Black” update also allows you to use new apps like Beamer, Storyteller, and the unified Camera app, which are now all supported.

WinBeta describes the 520 as the “most affordable Windows Phone with a dual core processor” whose specs would meet the need of the regular user. It has ample storage (8 GB) with a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with 720 at 30 fps second video recording. The Nokia Lumia 520 also has a 1GHz dual core processor and 512MB RAM.
