Banshee Season 2 Spoiler: Lead Stars Antony Starr & Ivana Milicevic Share Info About Their Characters’ Fate

Cinemax's Banshee has been one of the biggest revelations last year, according to TV experts. Although there are some people that say it only gets viewers because of its porn elements, the reviews have been generally favorable. The underrated show is so good it is renewed for a second season,  which will premier today.

The sexy, fast-paced and violent show about an ex-con taking over a town as the new sheriff stars Antony Starr and Ivana Milicevic. Before the show comes back on TV, these two actors shared what Banshee Season 2 would look like.

In an interview with Access Hollywood online, Milicevic said that the new season will see Lucas Hood (played by Starr) in a whole new level of troubles.

"He's in a tight spot and Deputy Siobhan Kelly is there tending his wounds," said the 39-year old actress who plays Ana/Carrie Hopewell, Hood's love interest.

For Starr, he said that his character will be met with a lot of threats, not just on him but more on his loved ones.

"Season 2 for Lucas is all about protection," he said.

"He's now a father; Rabbit is not found, so we don't know what's going on with that and as long as that threat is there, he needs to protect the ones that he loves, so it's a whole new world for Lucas when he becomes conscious again."

Antony also revealed some new names who will play a big part in his character's journey throughout the season. Among them is Agent Racine (to be played by Zeljko Ivanek of Heroes) who will investigate the trouble that Lucas Hood and his gang have created.

"He represents something that none of them have seen before," Antony said. "He is a whole new level of threat. He is an FBI superstar, if you like, that comes in and he's got so much weight behind him in terms of what he can legally do, which for all of our characters is potentially very problematic. And he's very clearly on a mission. No one knows quite what it is at first or, they have an idea of what it is - he gives away clues - but he's a force to be reckoned with."

Hopewell is also another character that will have much attention in the show. According to Milicevic, the heroine will have "really hard decisions to make and she just can't win and now she's trying - she actually wants to come clean and nobody will give her the time of day."
