Install Official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean On Samsung Galaxy Note 2; Latest Build Firmware XXUEML6 Released For GT-N7100 Units

Users of Samsung Galaxy Note 2 can now install official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update.

N7100XXUEML6, the latest official build firmware for Samsung Galaxy Note 2, is now available for the international version of the phablet. Particularly, the latest Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update is compatible with GT-N7100 model of Samsung Galaxy Note 2.

As posted on International Business Times, the firmware build that was released was the same test firmware that was previously leaked online.

Samsung Galaxy Note 2 was first announced on August 2012, and it became available in the market next month after its unveiling, as posted on GSM Arena. Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 originally comes with Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS but now, it is upgradeable to Android 4.3.

The official Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is currently available via Over-the-Air notification and through Samsung KIES server. The update is available in regions such as Indonesia, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Malaysia and Thailand.

Using the firmware on other variants may brick the device.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 GT-N7100 should be factory unlocked and not locked to a certain network carrier.

Also, make sure to install the appropriate USB drivers for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 on your computer so the Android device will connect easily on the PC during the installation process.
