Warner Bros 2014 Movies Include ‘The Lego Movie,’ ‘Godzilla,’ And More! [Videos]: Hollywood Movie Hit-Maker Aims To Replicate 2013 Total Gross With 2014 Lineup!

The hit-maker movie studio, Warner Brothers, recently announced that they have topped the 2013 box office not only domestically but also internationally and worldwide.

On a press release from Warner Bros (released by Coming Soon), the top movie producer states:

"In a record-breaking year, Warner Bros. Pictures emerged as the top-grossing studio for 2013, ranking number one in domestic, international and worldwide market shares. The announcement was made today by Dan Fellman, President of Domestic Distribution; Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, President of International Distribution; and Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution, Warner Bros. Pictures."

According to the press release, Warner Bros was able to acquire an estimate of $5.035 billion, creating a new benchmark. This record also makes Warner Bros. the second studio to "ever cross the $5 billion threshold."

Warner Brothers Pictures also managed to cross the $1 billion benchmark for 13 consecutive years, another record in the movie industry.

The top grossing films from Warner Bros in 2013 include The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and Gravity, both getting more than $650 million.

  •  The Lego Movie - "The LEGO® Movie, the first-ever, full-length theatrical LEGO® adventure, directed by Phil Lord & Christopher Miller, opens in theaters February 7, 2014.   •  300: Rise of an Empire - "Theatrical Premiere: March 07, 2014 - Based on Frank Miller's latest graphic novel, Xerxes, and told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster 300, this new chapter of the epic saga takes the action to a fresh battlefield-on the sea-as Greek general Themistokles (Sullivan Stapleton) attempts to unite all of Greece by leading the charge that will change the course of the war."

  •  Godzilla - "Theatrical Premiere: May 16, 2014 - An epic rebirth to Toho's iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros.   • Blended - "Theatrical Premiere: May 23, 2014 - Blended marks the third comedy collaboration between stars Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore, following their successful onscreen pairings in the hit romantic comedies 50 First Dates and The Wedding Singer."
