Are Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas heading for a split soon? A new report reveals that Prince Harry is not ready to get engaged or have a wedding in the near future, and may soon split from his girlfriend Cressida Bonas.

Express reports that friends of Prince Harry and his girlfriend Cressida Bonas told the Sunday Mirror that the royal and his blonde beauty have drifted apart recently.

"Talk of Harry and Cressida getting married could not be further from the truth," the source said. "Indeed it wouldn't be a surprise if they go their separate ways soon."

The source added: "It is actually Harry who has been moving on. He is incredibly fond of Cressida and loves her company but has commitments and plans in other areas of his life that could be jeopardised by settling down."

"It's not what he wants at this time of his life."

Perhaps their relationship problems started ever since Prince Harry spent three weeks on a charity trek to the South Pole with Walking With The Wounded. Since returning to London, he has had various commitments with his family over the holidays, forcing the couple to spend even more weeks apart.

Another friend added: "The expedition tested many of his skills from his military career and, like his time in Afghanistan, presented him with new challenges which he always relishes.

"It also allowed him to work on his other great passion of raising awareness about wounded servicemen and women. This is an area which is very important to him."

Express reports that rumors are swirling that Prince Harry and Cressida have cancelled plans to take a romantic ski vacation this month.

However, fans of Harry and Cressy shouldn't fret yet: Classicalite reports via OK! Magazine that Prince Harry was actually calling and texting Cressida over the holidays, and couldn't stop thinking about her while they were apart.

"He was always leaving the room to answer a text from her and [the family] lost count of how many times he'd pop out and call her. He really missed Cressy more than he expected, and it made him even more confident that she's the one for him," a source told the publication.

We'll have to see where the new year takes Harry and Cressida. Will they get engaged and plan a royal wedding soon? Or will we see them split in the near future?
