Minecraft PS4 Release Date News: 4J Studios Focusing On Fixing PS3 Issues First Before Moving On To TU14 And Other Platforms; Fix List For Patch 1.03 Update Revealed

Minecraft PS4 release date is happening at some point this 2014.

However, it seems that fans ardently waiting for the Minecraft PS4 release date will have to wait a little bit longer first. According to a post on Product Reviews, 4J Studios posted an update regarding the famous sandbox game. Apparently, the team is currently focusing first on fixing bug issues found on the PS3 version of the game.

As posted on 4J Studios' official Twitter account, there are some Minecraft PS3 issues to mend first. Afterwards, they are set to move on to the TU14 update, as well as development of Minecraft PS4 and Xbox One.

As for more updates, the game company also revealed the fix list for the Patch 1.03 of the PS3 version of Minecraft. In addition to the list, 4J Studios also said via Twitter that they are hoping to release the next update before next week.

Fix for issue in multiplayer/splitscreen which could cause save file corruption.

Fix for memory issue causing random game freezes and exits to XMB.

Fix for being unable to join games at times ("The host has exited the game" message incorrectly being displayed).

Fix for splitscreen crash on adding a player when language is Russian.

Fix for issue which can prevent leaderboard updates and some trophy awards.

Fix for issue causing "No DLC offers available" message when converting trial to full version.

Fix for game render glitch when a new streaming music track starts up.

Fix for a lighting issue on a network client.

Fix for the block damage decal being incorrectly offset

Fix for selected item text not fading off screen if a menu is opened when it's visible.

Fix for "Where are we now" music disc

Fix for issue with Ghasts firing at certain angles

A few rendering performance improvements

Moreover, the TU14 is already in development, according to another tweet from 4J Studios.

Minecraft: PS3 Edition arrived last year on December 17. Aside from the highly-anticipated Minecraft PS4 release date, the hit open-world sandbox game is also porting to PS Vita and Xbox One.
