SHINee Conclude Promotions, Embark on Japan Tour

SHINee has concluded their short promotions in Korea on a high note as they swept various music charts.

SHINee’s mini-album title song ‘Sherlock’ ranked 1st on KBS ‘Music Bank’ for two consecutive weeks (April 6, 13), won triple crown on SBS ‘Inkigayo’ (April 1, 8, 15) receiving the mutizen trophy.

Also according to Gaon Chart SHINee’s fourth mini-album ‘Sherlock’ topped the album sales for the month of March selling 135,370 copies. Proving the music fans interest and expectations towards SHINee’s new album.

Along with the popularity in Korea the group proved their global popularity as SHINee’s album ‘Sherlock’ ranked number 8 on U.S. iTunes Album Chart, in the comprehensive chart, ranked 9th spot on BillBoard Chart for World Album category, as well as being featured in famous French TV channel Canal Plus talk show ‘Le Petit Journal.’

SHINee was recognized for their powerful and innovative performance by world famous choreographer Tony Testa and flawless live performance have drawn music fans enthusiasm and praise.

SHINee decided to extend their promotions in Korea for another week due to the overwhelming popularity and according to schedule the promotions will conclude on April 20 performing ‘Sherlock’ through KBS ‘Music Bank’ followed by MBC ‘Music Core’ on April 21.

SHINee will embark on their Japanese tour ‘The First Japan Arena Tour: SHINee World 2012’ on April 25 at Fukuoka.
