Supernova Remarkably Tops Oricon Weekly DVD Chart Following TVXQ, JYJ

Group Supernova performed remarkably topping the Japan Oricon DVD chart.

Supernova’s fan meeting DVD ‘For You’ released on April 11 grabbed the top spot of Oricon weekly charts in Japan. The group sold over 9,070 copies in the first week.

The DVD is in the first spot in weekly charts for both categories of DVD music and overall DVD. Supernova is the third foreign boy group to achieve this in Japan following TVXQ and JYJ.

Supernova’s ‘For You’ is DVD of the fan meeting held last October at Saitama Arena with a large number of fans. The event that was held after fans overwhelming flood of request after announcing member Yunhak to enlist in the army during Supernova Japan tour ‘Make It’ held from last September for about 1 month. The event flocked in about 20,000 fans proving Supernova’s popularity in Japan.

Supernova made a comeback with new album ‘Stupid Love’ released on April 17 and will officially begin promotional activities in Korea after Mnet ‘MCountdown’ stage.
