Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams' dating story in 'The Notebook' might be fictional but it did not stop Paul Wesley's girlfriend Phoebe Tonkin from dreaming. 

In one of her recent Instagram posts, Paul Wesley's girlfriend Phoebe Tonkin posted a romantic snapshot of Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdam's' kissing scene in the famed 2004 film.

Rather than complementing the photo with words, the 24-year-old 'The Originals' actress simply included a heart symbol. Perhaps Paul Wesley's girlfriend is too happy now with the state of her love life.

The 31-year-old 'Vampire Diaries' actor is similarly very open with his blissful love life that he's been posting pictures of him and Tonkin online.

Last New Year's Eve, the two spent time together on the beach with their co-star Nate Buzolic. Tonkin was photographed with her arm wrapped around her beau's neck. 

Rumors are likewise circulating that Wesley and Tonkin are currently looking for an apartment. Clad in matching black outfits, the two were spotted walking around New York's SoHo neighborhood last November 2013.

Will the two eventually tie the knot especially now that Wesley has finalized his divorce with Torrey DeVitto just a day before Christmas?

Wesley married the 'Killer Movie' actress in April 2011 and decided to end their union last July 2013.
