Play The New Pokemon Game Evoas As US Fans Await Pokemon Bank Release Date: Fan-Made Project Increases Difficulty And 'Infected' Trainers!

While Pokemon X and Y fans impatiently await a US release date, there is a new game coming out for all the Nintendo haters to try!

Meet Pokemon Evoas, a new fan-made Pokemon game which tweaks the classic gaming mechanics.

According to Kotaku, the story of Pokemon Evoas changes from winning badges to reclaiming your old Pokemon team.

Reportedly, a "corrupt" Meloetta is using her voice to hypnotize trainers and Pokemon. As such, the new game will have increased difficulty in battles and a new mechanic called "brink mode."

You can check out a 30-minute playable preview of the new game right here.

While this is fun and certainly a fun distraction while fans moan and groan over a Pokemon release date, fans are worried that Nintendo will soon shut down the project.

"It's going to be great...until Nintendo shuts it down in about, oh call it ten minutes," wrote Delryn.

"It's too bad none of us have law degrees. My gut is that Nintendo really can't shut this down unless the developer puts it up for sale. It's not all that different from fan fiction otherwise-just 'interactive' fan fiction. Or am I missing something?" added Starmandeluze.

What do you think of Pokemon Evoas? Should Nintendo shut it down?
