The Good Wife Season 5 Spoilers: Kalinda And Villette, Matthew Goode Foil For Will, And Peter And Alicia!

As "The Good Wife" season 5 continues, spoilers about Kalinda, Will, Peter, and Alicia have surfaced.

While some fans have been complaining about a lack of Kalinda on "The Good Wife" season 5, there is a brewing storyline between her and love interest Detective Villette (Jordana Spiro).

According to spoilers by TVLine, the Detective will stick around, at least for the time being.

“She is still around, though I don’t know exactly how that’s going to play out," admitted series co-creator Michelle King.

“I wouldn’t necessarily say that [Jenna] is ‘the one and only’ [for Kalinda], but there’s definitely chemistry there.”

And as one couple forms, another may be on the rock again with Alicia and Peter.

"We wanted to be true to the idea of the relationship and what started at the beginning of the series, which was this incredible betrayal," said Michelle King to TVGuide. "Then, yes, they came together, but even when there's a whiff of something for her to lose her trust, she reacts a lot because of that initial betrayal."

"It's all about Chris Christie. It's so much about people in charge trying to deflect things on their underlings," added Robert King. "When investigators follow things, do they follow the smoking gun or where the money goes? Does it always go up higher and higher? Peter's in a lot of trouble, actually."

Meanwhile, spoilers confirm that "The Good Wife" season 5 will add a foil for Will in the form of Matthew Goode as a prosecutor.

"He's a witty intellectual who is very much Will's peer. They compete against each other in the court with the Hunter Parrish case," said Robert King. "He's like a likeable foil. You like him, but he also applies an intellect and a wit to his prosecution."
