Samsung Tizen Phone Could Finally Be Announced At MWC Event On February 23, Tizen-Powered Galaxy NX Camera Expected To Make An Appearance

The Samsung Tizen phone is probably the most delayed phone to ever be launched, though a recent report could finally mark an end to those who have been waiting.

According to a news report from GSM Arena, the Korean manufacturer has recently sent invites for a Tizen-focused event which would be held on the 23rd of February in Barcelona, during the MWC event.

While the invitations did not exactly mention the Tizen handset, whose release has already been delayed for years, it is highly improbable for Samsung to highlight the Tizen branding without the actual phone running it.

Previous reports also confirm the announcement of a variation of the Galaxy NX camera that runs on the Tizen OS.

The report also stresses that the event is strictly invite-only, and it would be graced by the top network providers in Korea. This would verify previous rumors that the Tizen brand will first be launched on Samsung's home country.
