A month into the year and we have already seen a bunch of interesting upcoming Android phones in 2014. Whether you are looking for a famous brand or an emerging OEM, there will surely be a number of great options to choose from.

Karbonn, one of the emerging brands in the Indian market's lucrative market has been offering decent-spec'd smartphones with very cheap pricetags. One of these new releases is the Titanium X.

The Titanium X boasts a 5-inch screen with Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a quad-core MediaTek 6589T chipset clocked at 1.5GHz, a PowerVR SGX544 GPU for decent graphics performance, and 1GB of RAM.

Running inside the device is Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean with a user interface that closely resembles stock Android, though there is certainly room for improvement.

Other notable features include a 13-megapixel camera at the back which has several imaging and photo editing features, and a number of free-loaded paid apps and games from third-party developers.

At only $270, the Titanium X is definitely a great buy in the markets where it is currently available. We'll keep you posted once Karbonn decides to launch it internationally.
