JYP-Ga In Duet ‘Someone Else’ Sweeps Music Charts

JYP’s ‘Someone Else’ released after 2 years hiatus hit the music charts.

The duet song ‘Someone Else’ with Ga In released on April 22 has topped Soribada and Bugs Music, as well as in the upper ranks of Melon and Cyworld Music.

JYP revealed through his twitter before, ‘I’m working on a duet with my favorite soul voice,’ hinting at working with a girl singer. Leaving many curious and surprised everyone with a stylish and sad duet with Ga In.

Composed and written by JYP, ‘Someone Else’ is a trendy R&B song about a love story between a star boyfriend and normal girlfriend who leaves him for a normal guy because the life with the star boyfriend is too difficult. However as they both end up missing each other, they find their way back to each other again.

The music video garnered a lot of attention as JYP and Ga In perfectly portrayed the lyrics of the song.

JYP is to release his new album on April 29.
