American Idol Season 13 is almost done with the auditions. After Boston, Austin, San Francisco, Detroit, and Atlanta, now the American Idol is on their way to Salt Lake City, Utah!

The American Idol season 13 sets off in Boston, Massachusetts and premiered on January 15, 2014. The team has finished auditions in 5 cities and now they're on their way to Salt Lake City, Utah. The original American Idol XIII 2014 auditions was held on July 11, 2013 at the EnergySolutions Arena.

After passing the preliminary auditions in Salt Lake City, Utah, the singers have to re-audition again for a callback that took place from October 2 to 3, 2013 to judges Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban, and newcomer Harry Connick, Jr. at the Marriot Hotel at City Creek.

So far, the total number of tickets to Hollywood is 163 (without the Salt Lake City tickets). Aside from the 7 cities the judges will be visiting, there's also the special audition bus tours that were held in the following areas: Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Knoxville, Tennessee, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Oxford, Mississippi, and Little Rock, Arkansas.

According to AI XIII host Ryan Seacrest, the next American Idol could be in Utah as reported by Fox 13 News.

"We have found some very good people," Seacrest said to Fox 13 news.

He further added, ""We have not found who we think could be the Idol yet, the winner yet, so that's why we are here. Hopefully we find an individual that has that potential today."
