Upcoming Alcatel Phones 2014: The 6" One Touch Hero Is A Flagship Device With A Midrange Price Tag, Packs Full HD Display, Quad-Core CPU, 13MP Primary Camera

Several weeks into 2014 and we have already seen a number of cool and affordable handsets which would surely get the attention of consumers. Alcatel has been making quite a progress with its lineup of upcoming Alcatel phones for 2014, one of which is the newly released One Touch Hero.

Announced back in September, the Android-powered handset has finally made its way to the international market. If you are looking for a handset that combines quality specs and affordable pricing, then the One Touch Hero could be the one you are looking for.

Packed with a 6-inch IPS LCD display, the One Touch Hero is safely in the phablet category. The screen looks impressive especially with its Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution. The Alcatel phablet also boasts a quad-core Cortex-A7 CPU clocked at 1.5GHz, 2GB of RAM, and an 8GB internal memory.

There is also a 13-megapixel camera at the back and a 2MP front cam, though the former does not offer the same image quality produced by other 13MP shooters. Still, getting such features under $400 is a great value in itself.

The phone runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, and a microSD card slot for the single-SIM variant. If you want to get the dual-SIM edition, you need to settle for the 16GB of internal storage without options for expansion.
