Upcoming Android Phones 2014: ZTE's Midrange Iconic Phablet Re-Branded As Boost Max, Now Available From Boost Mobile

Announced during the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, one of ZTE's upcoming Android phones for 2014 has finally arrived in the US through a network carrier.

In a report by Android Authority, the ZTE Iconic Phablet is now available for pre-orders in pre-paid carrier Boost Mobile, under a new brand name - Boost Max.

Priced at a not-so-low price tag of $399 off contract, the Boost Max retains its original specifications which include a 5.7-inch display with 720p resolution, a Qualcomm dual-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz, 1GB of RAM and a fairly old Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The Boost Max also packs an 8-megapixel camera at the back and a 1MP snapper in front, 8GB of internal memory, 4G LTE support, and a 3,200mAh battery.

The ZTE Iconic Phablet a.k.a. the Boost Max is a really solid Android-powered handset. Unfortunately, its steep pricing may not do it well especially in a market that heavily favors devices which offer both quality and affordability.
