Pokemon X And Y Battle Competition Announced For Global Link As Fans Crucify Nintendo CEO For Pokemon Bank Release Date Delays

Pokemon X and Y will be holding its first Battle Competition soon, and here is everything you need to know about it!

Serebii reports that the first Battle Competition of this generation will be held from February 21 to February 24.

The entrants, however, are limited to those who participated in the 2014 Global Showdown competition for Black 2 and White 2. However, a further 10,000 entries will be allowed from January 31 onward. This Pokemon X and Y Battle Competition allows you to gain points for wins and lose points to losses, and it's a lot of fun!

Recently, the regulations for this Battle Competition have been unveiled by the official Korean website.

Reportedly, the battles will be Double Battles and you may use Pokemon from the National Pokedex, but not transferred Pokemon. All Pokemon will be made at Level 30 in the competition, and participants are limited to 20 battles per day.

Meanwhile, Pokemon X and Y fans are still furious over the lack of a Pokemon Bank release date outside of Japan and select Asian countries.

It's been a very rough start to the year for Nintendo, and after posting weak sales for the Wii U, CEO Satoru Iwata has declared he will slash his own salary to atone for the disaster.

According to BusinessInsider, Iwata will slash his salary in half for five months, while other members of the board will take a pay cut between 20% and 30%.

But the Wii U debacle is not the only thing Nintendo users want Iwata to pay for.

On social media, virtually every post by Nintendo or related accounts is spammed with demands for Pokemon Bank. And with the recent rumored release date gone, it seems Pokemon X and Y fans feel Iwata has a lot more to answer for than the Wii U.
