Fans Miss The Doctor Who Bow Tie With Peter Capaldi Costume For Season 8 [VIDEO]: Filming And Set Photos Excite Whovians!

Despite the exciting reveal of the new "Doctor Who" costume for Peter Capaldi, fans' opinions seem divided.

 “He’s woven the future from the cloth of the past. Simple, stark, and back to basics. No frills, no scarf, no messing, just 100 percent Rebel Time Lord," said Peter Capaldi according to Doctor Who TV.

"Capaldi is suited and booted and coming to get you!" said Steven Moffat.

However, not every reaction for the costume has been wholeheartedly positive. It seems some fans have been missing a certain something from the Eleventh Doctor's attire.

"A number of fans have drawn comparisons to the Eleventh Doctor’s clothing, and the salient accessory that he repeatedly referred to as being 'cool.' I am, of course, talking about the famous bow tie," wrote James Wynne.

"Many have expressed the feeling that Capaldi’s outfit lacks a similarly singular feature to distinguish it."

No doubt still harboring some emotions about Matt Smith's exit from "Doctor Who," hopefully fans warm up to Peter Capaldi and his new costume by the time season 8 rolls around.

Currently, "Doctor Who" season 8 is filming its early episodes, and Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman can be seen in new set photos from Cardiff.
