Devious Maids Season 2 Spoilers: Marisol Duarte To Marry A Rich Man! Series Star Roselyn Sanchez Awaits Another Baby?

"Devious Maids" season 2 will resume airing on April 20 for its second season run with a new plot wrinkle. How about Marisol Duarte (Ana Ortiz) marrying a rich man and hiring a help of her own?

And here's the fun part, the "devious maid" is going to be a white woman, which is a far departure of the "help's demographics" so far, according to The Wrap.

"She's moving on up and she's got a lot of deviousness to deal with of her own," Marc Cherry, executive producer of the Lifetime series, told The Wrap.

"Devious Maids" was first pitched to ABC but the network passed on the show. But March Cherry said in the same interview that the rejection was a blessing because he's very satisfied with how things are going over at Lifetime due to the support of the management.

He said the network's brass has given her a free rein over major decisions but revealed that at one point, they clashed over a "casting decision." Marc Cherry said they finally convinced the network to try out the actor and won them over with the results.

Meanwhile, Roselyn Sanchez, who plays Carmen in "Devious Maids," told People that she and her husband, Eric Winters, are planning another baby after two-year-old Sabelle.

"I don't want Sebella to be an only child. I come from a big family and I don't know if it's because I grew up with so many brothers, but I do want her to experience what it is to have a sibling," she said. "I would love to have one more soon."

It's not clear if how her pregnancy (should it happen) will affect her role in "Devious Maids," but Roselyn Sanchez said that she wants a boy next.

"If I'm being completely honest with you," Roselyn Sanchez told People. "I would love to experience having a boy - especially because I grew up with three brothers and I understand the male energy."
