Square Enix Blames PS4 For Final Fantasy 15 Release Date Delays: XV And Kingdom Hearts 3 Among Most Desired Games In Japan!

As Square Enix continues its long slog make Final Fantasy 15 a reality, a recent interview has fans worried about another delay in the release date.

Recently, Final Fantasy 15 director Nomura Tetsuya spoke with Weekly Famitsu about Final Fantasy 15, and bemoaned the demands of the PS4 console.

"For the player, having a game that's thoroughly made makes them excited with anticipation, but for a developer, it's a hurdle that we have to overcome," said Tetsuya. "The number of things that we have to do keeps increasing, and if we keep trying to expand we'll never be finished."

"Looking at the PS4, I thought they've gone too far. I wish they would just let us off the hook."

Given the recent struggles with Square Enix, it's possible that funding for Final Fantasy 15 is adding to fans wanting a release date for the long-delayed game.

And it's no wonder Tetsuya is crushing under the pressure.

According to Gaming Bolt, a recent survey by Famitsu revealed that both Final Fantasy 15 and Kingdom Hearts 3 are among the most desired games in Japan.

With a Final Fantasy 15 release date initially estimating in 2015, now fans and publications are thinking 2016 could also be a possibility.

With so many delays, will Final Fantasy 15 end in failure for Square Enix?
