Samsung Galaxy S5 Rumors: New Flagship Handset Will Get Life Times App, As Well As Improved Version Of S-Voice Interface

There have been several Samsung Galaxy S5 rumors which mainly cover the handset's specs. Now, it's time for the software and apps.

According to a report from known leaker Sam Mobile, the upcoming flagship will have new Life Times application by Samsung.

As the name suggests, this application will be able to get important personal details from other apps such as the camera, email, location, memo, messages, music, phone, S Health, and even social networks in order to come up with a comprehensive log that would manage all these details better.

Recently-released Samsung devices currently have the Story Album app, and with the rumor of a new reminder and life tracker app, the former would probably make its exit.

Another interesting detail Sam Mobile reported on is the newly designed S-Voice interface. Introduced a couple of years back, the S-Voice is Samsung's direct weapon against the iPhone's Siri, though its strategy did not work out well.

Now, it looks like the Korean manufacturer has redesigned its interface, and probably improved its features in order to stay in step with its iOS voice assistant counterpart.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 is rumored for a February or March announcement, with a launch several weeks after that.
