Vin Diesel Movie XXX3 Script Is Almost Done! The Return Of Xander Cage Explodes In Theatres After 12 Years! Katy Perry Joins The Movie?

The movie that virtually put Vin Diesel on the map, "XXX" is returning for its third installment. 12 Years since the 2002 original came up.

"XXX" was an action movie which combined extreme sports elements-a rising trend at that time. Vin Diesel was at the top of his game when the film was released. According to Box Office Mojo, the film had a budget of $70 million and hauled in close to $277 million globally.

However, Revolution Studios took a different route and Vin Diesel did not return for the sequel (just like "2 Fast 2 Furious).  Starring Ice Cube as the new Agent xXx, the movie flopped and did not even make half its $87 million budget.

Now, Vin Diesel is back near the top of his game with the 'Fast and Furious' franchise and his 'Riddick' project finally got going.

From Vin Diesel's Facebook Page:  "As you know, the new XXX script finally comes in next month... and just this morning people are suggesting Katy Perry as the new X girl."

The video continues with Vin Diesel displaying the mouse board that he will give away, looking into his computer screen, playing Perry's song "Dark Horse" and an inscription: "@katyperry YES VIN DIESEL."

Does this mean that Katy Perry has received an invitation and has already agreed to join the film?

The sequel to XXX has already been in the rumor mill since 5 years ago. Screenrant shares:  "Sony is interested in another xXx, however as the rights are owned by former Revolution Studios head, Joe Roth, he'll be shopping the film around town for a solid deal. With Rob Cohen, now hot after the new Mummy (and was previously "cold" after Stealth) and Diesel taking a pay cut due to back to back bombs, it looks like we might eventually see xXx: The Return of Xander Cage."

The studio situation has not yet been resolved, and the project has not yet been given an official greenlight..but Vin Diesel is already betting on it.
