Will Mega Lucario Join Super Smash Bros. 4 For Wii U And 3DS? Nintendo Confirms Lucario For Characters List As Pokemon X And Y Fans Theorize On Final Smash!

A new character is joining the roster for Super Smash Bros. 4 for the Wii U and 3DS, and it is none other than Lucario from the Pokemon franchise!

Many Pokemon fans are surprised by Lucario's addition to the roster, given that a brand new Pokemon from X and Y would have promoted both Super Smash Bros. 4 and the latest Pokemon games.

According to Super Smash Bros. 4 director Masahiro Sakurai, Lucario aura ability will be enhanced and become "a force to be reckoned with."

Many are theorizing that with Lucario added to Super Smash Bros. 4, Mega Lucario will make an appearance as well, possibly as its final smash.

As Pokemon X and Y fans know, Mega Lucario is one of a handful of Mega Evolutions added to the franchise, and it would be great to see it in action.

Sadly, some are predicting that with Lucario included to the roster, Mewtwo will not a part of the characters list after all.

"I'm glad Lucario is back with what looks like the same move set!" writes RocketClauncher on Pokejungle.

"He was my main fighter in Brawl so I'm used to him. As far as other Pokemon I think Mewtwo or even Charizard could still be a possibility. Each could have their X Mega on the Wii U and their Y Mega on the 3DS, making it a cool version exclusive."
