BEAST’s Son Dongwoon Release First Solo ‘In The Cloud’

BEAST member Son Dongwoon released his first solo.

Son Dongwoon’s solo song ‘In The Cloud’ is included in Shinsadong Tiger’s project album part 2 ‘Supermarket Another Half.’ Shinsadong Tiger has worked with the group as their producer for some time.

‘In The Cloud’ released through different online music sites on April 24 garnered a lot of attention as it topped keyword search on a portal site after its release. The song is a refined medium tempo ballad expressing a happy man who is in love with a girl following the meaning of the title.

BEAST members also praised and cheered Son Dongwoon for his vocal improvement in ‘In the Cloud’ through SNS. Also ‘INTHECLOUD’ showed up in Twitter worldwide trending topics proving BEAST’s popularity overseas.

Son Dongwoon also in the past has distinguished his sweet and heavy voice even within BEAST through a ballad song. Fans expressed their excitement about his activities sharing, “I was able to get a sense of Son Dongwoon’s vocal capability and expressiveness more shown through ‘In The Cloud.’”

CUBE Entertainment shared, “Son Dongwoon is also diligently preparing to show various charms through BEAST’s new album as well.”

BEAST recently successfully concluded the 2nd fan meeting with official fan club Beauty on April 22 with over 5,000 fans. The group is now in preparation for their new album expected to release in the first half of this year.
