Android 4.4 Kit Kat Release Date Still Makes Its Way To HTC One Devices In Canada In Spite Reported Delays, Update Includes Sense 5.5, Better CPU Performance

In spite reports of a delay in the release, the Android 4.4.2 Kit Kat release date for HTC One handsets in Canada still pushes through.

According to a report from Android Authority, several users and subscribers from Canadian carriers have reported that the update is already available for their phones via OTA.

A couple of days ago, HTC USA president Jason Mackenzie announced that the latest version of Android KitKat will not make their way to HTC One devices in North America right away and could see a week or two delay.

But because the update is now available, we can safely assume that the 'delay' has been resolved. However, HTC has yet to release any official announcement regarding the KitKat update.

While the official changelog and update details are not yet available, we can tell that the update brings new changes to the HTC's performance, as well as a new Sense 5.5 UI.

HTC is continuing to deliver timely updates to its customers just to keep them satisfied.
