Upcoming Android Phones 2014: The Sony Xperia T2 Offers Great Specs For An Even Greater Amount Of Money, Rumored To Be Released In March

There are a number of upcoming Android phones in 2014, but if you are looking for a particular handset that reeks of premium build and quality, then Sony phones would surely satisfy your preferences.

One of these Android-powered handsets is the Xperia T2 Ultra. Announced a couple of weeks ago, this droid promises to become an 'affordable' alternative to the high-end and flagship phablet Xperia Z Ultra.

However, as it appears in The Inquirer, the T2 Ultra may not be that affordable at all. In the report, the device costs £650 for pre-order in SIM-free retailer Unlocked-mobiles.com, and would be shipped beginning March 5.

Indeed the phone boasts decent specs under its belt, including a 6-inch IPS Triluminous display with 720p resolution, a quad-core 1.4GHz processor, Snapdragon 400, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of internal memory.

Completing the spec sheet is a 13-megapixel Exmor R primary camera, a 1.1MP front cam, a microSD card slot, 3,000mAh of battery juice and Android 4.3 Jelly Bean out of the box with a promised update to version 4.4 Kitkat some time in the future.

While the pricing is certainly steep for a 'budget' phablet, there are still no confirmations regarding this pricing so let us just take it with more than a grain of salt. Once Sony makes releases official details regarding pricing and availability, we will let you know right away.
