Nokia Lumia 620 Review, Price: Specs Of $199 Budget Friendly Windows Phone Incl 3.8-inch LCD Screen, 5MP Camera; A Great Value Smartphone

Nokia Lumia 620 review, price: Specs of the $199 Windows Phone-powered Nokia Lumia 620 is one for the books, especially for its price. This handset is deemed the baseline for a Windows Phone 8 unit, one tech reviewer suggests.

Aa spec sheet by Phone Arena shows that the Nokia Lumia 620 has a 3.8-inch ClearBlack TFT LCD screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also has a dual-core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor that clocks at 1GHz, 512MB RAM and a pair of cameras. The primary camera has 5 megapixels with auto-focus and LED flash and the front-facing VGA snapper has 0.3 megapixels.

It’s internal storage options begins at 8GB with microSD support allowing up to 64GB of added storage. The 1,300 mAh battery should be good for up to 10 hours of talk time.

CNET notes that the Lumia 620 loses points on poor call quality. It also has a short-screen timeout and a small battery. There’s also some design issues like a hard-to-find SIM card slot. GSM Arena cites that the smartphone’s WP app catalog falls short of Android and iOS and that there is no system-wide file manager and lockscreen shortcuts.

Despite its shortcomings though and an affordable price tag, $199 for an unlocked version, CNET says that the Nokia Lumia 620 delivers a complete Windows Phone 8 experience for an affordable price. The user just need to be aware of the compromise he/she will be taking when it comes to battery life, sound quality and design specs.
