Friends Reunion 2014: Jenifer Aniston and Courteney Cox Are Still BFFs; Is That Enough To Bring Aniston Back to Friends?

Friends Reunion 2014: Courteney Cox is still one of Jennifer Aniston's closest friends. Jennifer and Courteney have been close friends for about two decades. It started when Aniston and Cox starred together on the hit TV sitcom "Friends." Jenifer Aniston and Courteney Cox went from unknowns actors to international stars. Jennifer Aniston is reported to be the last holdout to a Friends reunion, but she's never too far from her best friend Courteney Cox.

Jenifer Aniston and Courteney Cox had their troubles about two years ago, when Perez Hilton reported that Jennifer said Courteney was being callous by "running around" with another guy even when she wasn't yet divorced from David Arquette

There have rumors that Courteney is trying to convince Jennifer to reunite with Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer, for a reunion special of 'Friends.'

Jennifer Aniston says she's had a close friendship with Courteney Cox since "Friends" ended in 2004.

Jennifer told More Magazine "There's absolutely no judgment in Court. You'll never feel scolded. She's extremely fair, ridiculously loyal and fiercely loving."

During the headline grabbing divorce with Brad Pitt and all that business with Angelina Jolie, Aniston found comfort with Cox. Jennifer said "I've slept in her guest bedroom a lot. Without giving away too much of my private stuff, all I can say is she's been there for me through thick and thin."

But Jennifer has no interest in a full "Friends" reunion. Last May Aniston recently told the audience on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," "Doing that little bit with Matty and Court yesterday was... We were very nostalgic and miss working together."

Jennifer Aniston is the last holdout to a "Friends" reunion in 2014. "Friends" producers are trying to convince actress Jennifer Aniston to join a reunion. Matt LeBlanc starred in a spin-off about his Joey character, but it was short-lived.

A source told OK! magazine "Since the show ended in 2004 it's been rare for all six of them to appear in public together. But with next year's 20th anniversary (of the show's launch) it will be unavoidable for them to do something together. It's the perfect excuse to talk seriously about a new project. It's no secret the whole project will be pinned on Jennifer, who's incredibly busy with her movie career. But she's been slowly convinced that a reunion could be a good thing."

Courteney Cox and Jennifer Aniston rocked Cabo in bikinis this weekend when they took a Mexican vacation together. Cox and Aniston have remained friends since 2004 when "Friends" ended.Courtney Cox joined Aniston and her fiancé Justin Theroux and Howard Stern and his wife Beth Ostrosky.

Courteney Cox, who played Monica Geller on the 90s hit sitcom, best friend to Jennifer's Rachel Green, has stayed close friends with Aniston and has been helping to pave the way for the reunion.

The source said "Courteney has been telling Jennifer that she and Matthew Perry have still got that amazing chemistry after shooting just a few scenes with him guest starring on her TV show "Cougar Town." It was as though no time has passed at all."

There is no word on whether the "Friends" cast will reunite for a TV special or a movie.
