NBA All Star Game 2014: Full East-West Starting Lineup Revealed; Players Were Both Happy And Unhappy With All Star Game Roster

NBA All Star Weekend 2014: The complete roster of the 2014 NBA All Star Game has been recently completed and is now ready to battle it out this February.

Dwyane Wade, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Paul George will start for the East. A serious lack of genuine big men are seen in the East lineup but it is packed with versatile starters that could deliver greatly on both ends of the court.

On the reserves are John Wall, DeMar DeRozan, Joe Johnson, Chris Bosh, Roy Hibbert, Joakim Noah and Paul Millsap.

On a side note, it has been all frustration for an expected Pacer to be in the lineup but didn't make the cut. Lance Stephenson, who has been carrying his team in the season alongside Paul George has been frustrated that the coaches didn't pick him to be part of the All Star Game.

"I'm very upset, but I'm just going to keep working hard and prove everybody wrong every time I'm on that floor," Stephenson told the team's official website.

On the West lineup, the starters would be Stephen Curry, though injured Kobe Bryant were voted by fans to be on the lineup continuing his streak being in the All Star Game, Kevin Durant, Blake Griffin and Kevin Love.

The reserves that were voted by the coaches are Chris Paul, Damian Lillard, Tony Parker, James Harden, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dirk Nowitzki and Dwight Howard.

The 2013-2014 NBA Season has had a lot of ups and downs starting with the East Conference performing not really well having a lot of teams under .500 starting the season. Also, there were teams that were expected to perform really well but started out weak just like the Knicks and the Nets, though they are bouncing back after the turn of the year.

Some of the ups were both expected and unexpected players stepped up big time for their team including Kevin Durant trying to break records with 30-point plus games and Damian Lillard surprising everyone by carrying his team on top of their conference and getting a slot in the All Star.

But the biggest issue this year has been the injuries that plagued star players that were pretty much expected to be in the All Star and dominate the game. Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook and Kobe Bryant, who got another injury after returning to play obviously didn't make the cut to be part of the All Star Game except for Kobe Bryant, who was voted by fans even if he only played six games the whole season.

Bryant was very happy and thankful for the support of his fans but he would rather miss the game and give the starting slot to somebody else, as he stated.
