J.K. Rowling Says Hermione Should Have Married Harry Potter; Should Have Killed Off Ron Weasley When She Had The Chance; Where Are the Hogwarts Graduating Class Now?

J.K. Rowling confessed to Emma Watson that Hermione Grainger should have married Harry Potter instead of Ron Weasley. Two years ago, J.K. Rowling admitted that she thought about killing off the Ron character. Soul eaters everywhere would have rejoiced.

In an interview with 'Harry Potter' actress Emma Watson for Wonderland magazine Rowling said Hermione Granger hould have married Harry Potter, not Ron.

Rowling says in the interview.  "I wrote the Hermione/Ron relationship as a form of wish fulfillment. That's how it was conceived, really. For reasons that have very little to do with literature and far more to do with me clinging to the plot as I first imagined it, Hermione ended up with Ron. I know, I'm sorry. I can hear the rage and fury it might cause some fans, but if I'm absolutely honest, distance has given me perspective on that. It was a choice I made for very personal reasons, not for reasons of credibility. Am I breaking people's hearts by saying this? I hope not."

Emma Watson agreed, saying "I think there are fans out there who know that too and who wonder whether Ron would have really been able to make her happy."

What's going on with the other magical graduates of Hogarts? Warner Bros. is another set of Harry Potter movies. One spinoff will be based on a fictional Hogwarts textbook, and another will be about the game of Quidditch. Daniel Radcliffe won't be in it. Radcliffe just shot the upcoming film "Kill Your Darlings."

Emma Watson appeared in "My Week With Marilyn," "The Perks of Being A Wallflower" and "The Bling Ring." She will soon star with Seth Rogen in the comedy, "This Is the End."

Rupert Grint, who played Ron Weasley, will play in the punk rock bio-pic "CGBG."

Bonnie Wright, who played Ginny Weasley since she was 10 years old, will next appear in "The Philosophers" and then "Before I Sleep" with Tom Sizemore.

Tom Felton, played the snotty nosed Draco Malfoy will appear next year in the World War II movie "Ghosts of the Pacific."

Matthew Lewis, who played Neville Longbottom, moved to the small screen for 2012's "The Syndicate."

James and Oliver Phelps, the twin brothers who played George and Fred Weasley, are working on stage and their website.

Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, wants in on the "Harry Potter" spinoff films, saying "Even if I'm too old to play Luna, can I go through 10 hours prosthetics to play a crumple-horned-snorkack. Please??"

Jamie Waylett, who played Vincent Crabbe, was sentenced to two years in jail for taking part in the 2011 London riots.

Devon Murray, who played Seamus Finnigan, recently took to Twitter to say that he's "been offered a lead role in a new movie so could be seeing my mug soon :)"

JK Rowling says Ron and Hermione would have needed to go to a marriage counselor. Maybe there's a sequel in that.
