Friends Reunion 2014: Courteney Cox Jennifer Aniston's Close Friends, but Not Enough To Bring Aniston Back to the Show

Defending A-League champions Central Coast Mariners have signed experienced South Korean attacker Kim Seung-yong to the end of next season. 

Mariners striker Daniel McBreen is set to rejoin Chinese Super League outfit Shanghai East Asia on a one-season deal. Trent Sainsbury joined the Dutch club PEC Zwolle.

Seung-yong is due to arrive later this week.On Sunday afternoon, the Mariners confirmed that they will add 28-year-old Korean attacking midfielder Kim Seung-yong as the team's latest addition. 

The Seung-yong signing comes after a long Mariners search for an attacking player after Mike McGlinchey made the move to Japan and Daniel McBreen decided to play for China. The Mariners were also battling a season-ending injury to attacking midfielder Marcos Flores.

Kim Seung-yong spent the last two seasons with Ulsan Hyundai, which won the 2012 AFC Champions League finals. Kim scored in their 3-0 win over Saudi Arabia's Al-Ahli.

Central Coast coach Phil Moss said "We've taken as much time as we've needed to land our man, and based on all our due diligence we believe Kim Seung-yong will have a major impact for our club on and off the field. It made a lot of sense to me to investigate bringing a top-quality Asian player to the Mariners, especially considering our involvement with the 2014 AFC Champions League. We see it as a massive opportunity to tap into the Korean community in Australia, and a chance to generate further awareness of our Club in Asia."

Mariners CEO Mr Bruce Stalder said "Kim Seung-yong ticks all the boxes for us as a club. He is player of immense quality and reputation in Asia, he has a desire to play in Australia, and he is extremely familiar with the AFC Champions League - a competition we will be entering for the fourth time in 2014."

Kim Seung-yong turned down an offer to remain with Korean giants Ulsan Hyundai in favour of joining the A-League champions until the end of next season. Kim Seung-yong will move to Australia instead of continuing in the more lucrative and high-profile K-League.
