George Zimmerman-Kanye West Celebrity Boxing Match In The Offing? Troubled Man Wants To Knock Out The Rapper

George Zimmerman, the man in the middle of the highly publicized Treyvor Martin murder, is challenging international rapper Kanye West for a celebrity boxing match.

In a report by TMZ, Zimmerman, who was acquitted of charges of second-degree murder for the shooting of unarmed teenager last year, said he chose Kanye as his opponent because of the celebrity's reputation of beating defenseless people.

"Why? Because the rapper has an alleged history of attacking "defenceless people," Zimmerman said according to TMZ.

The partly Hispanic 30-year old man out of Manassas, Virginia has been known for his ill-tempered personality. He has been charged for shoving an undercover alcohol-control agent and pointing a gun to her girlfriend. He is perceived in the media as someone who can't control his temper. However, this time, challenging Kanye West, according to the fight's promoter, is not all about violence. Proceeds of the fight will go to a certain charity.

The celebrity boxing match was organized and promoted by Damon Feldman who already announced that Zimmerman is going to have a fight on March 1. He told TMZ last month that his fighter is "open to fighting anyone... Even black people', will donate any earnings he makes from the bout to charity." However, a name is yet to accept the invitation.

"We haven't discussed purple, yellow, white, black," he added.

Kanye West is yet to react on the challenge.

African-American and local rapper The Game stepped in to accept the challenge.

"I would not be boxing for me," The Game told TMZ.  "I'd be boxing for the legacy of Trayvon Martin and for his family."

"I would box him to knock him out.

"I would definitely take pleasure in it.  It's legal, and I want to show him you can solve your disputes without a weapon," he explained.
