This will be the second meeting of the season pitting the L.A. Clippers (34-16) vs the 22-23 Denver Nuggets. L.A. won the first matchup and has won five of its last six games while Denver has dropped two in a row.

The Clippers, who are 14-13 away from home, pulled away with an 18-3 third-quarter run after entering halftime in a 42-all tie on Saturday against the Jazz.
"We got some stops, got some good ball pressure defensively and forced them to take some tough shots in the open court," Blake Griffin told ESPN.com. " ... When everybody's on the same page like we were at the end of the third quarter, we're a much better team."
Denver is averaging 91.5 points and 18.3 turnovers in four games without Lawson compared to 104.7 points and 14.8 turnovers with him.
"Randy played 43 minutes, Evan (Fournier) 38 minutes, and they're not accustomed to playing that many minutes as well," Shaw said after the loss to Toronto. "They started getting tired, then we started losing our fundamentals and throwing the ball all over the place. That was our biggest thing tonight."
Lawson remains out while backup point guard Nate Robinson had his torn ACL surgically repaired.
"We don't want anybody to feel sorry for us and we won't feel sorry for ourselves," coach Brian Shaw said. "We just have to continue to fight, stay positive, keep working and just be more fundamentally sound."
This is a four-game homestand for Denver and are 0-2 with this game against the Clippers with the Milwaukee Bucks coming in on Wednesday.
